Connex Group a part of the CGC Group business delivered a fully integrated scope on the Visy Devonport project, managing the entire process from design and engineering through to client handover. By leveraging the broader CG&C Group’s capabilities, the team was able to fast-track the design and shop drawing phases, flowing seamlessly into fabrication and onsite structural steel and precast installation.

A key feature of the project was its design being built around the Zeman Steel Beam Assembly Robot, a deliberate decision made early in the process to ensure the fabrication methodology aligned with the project’s required production dates and programme milestones.

From breaking ground in mid-October 2024 to practical completion and handover at the end of June 2025, the project was delivered within a demanding nine-month window. A strong result underpinned by the integrated delivery model across the CG&C Group.
