The Roxy Theatre has officially reopened its doors to the public, a significant milestone marking the completion of a project that breathes new life into one of Leeton’s most beloved historic buildings.

With Leeton Shire Council as owner-builder, Connex played an active role in helping the Council navigate and maintain momentum and continuity on a high-detail, technically complex historic design.

The building itself presented a distinct set of challenges. As a blend of new construction integrated with a historic existing structure, the project relied heavily on 3D point cloud scanning to accurately capture existing conditions and ensure all new elements could be coordinated and detailed with precision. Managing the interface between old and new, each carrying its own tolerances and complexities, required meticulous attention at every stage.

While modest in scale, the Roxy Theatre stands apart in terms of its complexity. A beautifully restored historic venue returned to the Leeton community, delivered to an exceptional standard.
